2015 Chevrolet SS Indianapolis

Chevrolet has always been an innovator. They have built cars, trucks, and SUV’s that not only excite, but are flexible to meet your needs. Chevrolet has done it again with the 2015 Chevrolet SS. The SS is a family friendly sedan that has the power to be track ready, giving it speed, power, and family friendly features all in one cute little package. This sports sedan (SS) sold 354 in the month of June, and although this number may seem low, the SS has much to offer.

New to the SS for 2015, Chevrolet added a standard magnetic ride control adaptive suspension, and six-speed manual transmission as a no cost option for consumers. A short shift stick and smooth shifting is one of the things that makes the SS a great sedan. It is rare when a large comfortable vehicle offers manual option, as that is usually saved for sportier, smaller vehicles.

If you want the automatic version of the SS, it will cost you an extra $1300 for gas guzzler tax. The manual version avoids the tax and offers skip shift, which offers fuel savings for drivers. The SS will has a starting MSRP of $46,740, which includes the destination charge. The SS also offers low end torque from its 415 horsepower 6.2 liter V8 engine giving it the ability to go 104.99 mph in just 13.37 seconds on a drag strip.

SS does a great job of offering plenty of room and comfort features while being a great sporty sedan on the road. The cabin is big enough to fit four adults comfortably while giving them plenty of legroom in the front and rear of the sedan. The rear has nicely angled back seats and plenty of thigh room as well as high back rests.

SS has standard features that include limited slip differential, Brembo performance brakes, forward collision warning, back up camera, lane departure warning, self parking system, blind spot warning, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heads-up display, and touch screen navigation screen. The only option upgrade for SS is a sunroof which will run consumers around $900. SS is a sedan that can haul family around town, or be ready for the track.
